What are the test requirements for the air conditioning electronic expansion valve life test bench?

2025-01-02

This equipment is essential for comprehensive performance and durability testing of electronic expansion valves. Its core purpose is to ensure the valves have a sufficiently long service life and reliability in practical applications. What are the testing requirements for an air conditioning electronic expansion valve life test bench? Let's take a look at how Guangzhou Zhipinhui Electronic Technology explains it.

Under-Load Life Test Requirements

① Secure the expansion valve to the life test bench and operate it at a set voltage (e.g., DC12V), specified excitation mode, and a set frequency (e.g., 83 PPS).

② Set the inlet (side pipe) pressure to 1.0 MPa, and the outlet (straight pipe) to atmosphere. Open and close the valve a set number of times (e.g., 100,000) in a cycle of 0-500. Use nitrogen or clean compressed air, with a source pressure ≥4.5 MPa. The test pressure is adjustable from 1 to 3.5 MPa. Note: Opening and closing up to 9.99 million cycles is also supported to determine the maximum lifespan of the electronic expansion valve.
